The grinder pumps of the FGR series are used particulary in municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants. They have been developed to pump the liquid with a high head at a very low flow rate. The cutting unit made of special, hard stainless steel breaks up the filamentous materials contained in the liquids. To avoid the risk of clogging, small diameter pipes are used. These pumps can be used for lifting sewage from residential buildings, in small remote areas far from sewerage, hotels and campsites, in the food and paper industries and in special situations where installing a gravity system is often costly .
